Letter from James Burke

Dear Bob,

I just wanted to write to let you know that I had received my whitetail antlers you repaired and to also let you know that the job you did was exceptional.  Based upon other similar repairs I have seen, I expected a good patch job and color restoration that from five feet or more would not be noticeable.  I was pleasantly surprised to see the repairs were invisible to the naked eye under even the closest inspection.  The attention to detail on both the repairs and color restoration is incredible.  A rack that was broken, chewed, and weathered looks like it was taken off the buck yesterday not found in a field some three months later.  Especially impressive was you response to my needs and concerns.  This was displayed by the number of phone calls you made to me to ensure I felt comfortable with the work you were doing.
Of the twenty of so people who have seen the rack, no-one has successfully identified the repairs you made.  More importantly, none thought the rack had been painted.  Perhaps the true test of your work was displayed by two taxidermists who have inspected the rack.  Both had seen the rack before I sent it to you.  They both reviewed the rack thoroughly and were overwhelmed by the quality of your work.  They both indicated to me, that it was the best work they had ever seen and wanted your contact information because they are interested in sending you some racks for repairs or restoration.
In today's world it is difficult to find the professionalism, craftsmanship, personal pride, and caliber of service you displayed in performing the work you did for me.  I will highly recommend you to anyone for any kind of antler reconstruction, restoration, or replication.  The best of luck to you and again thanks for all your help.

Sincerely,
Jim Burke
